Blogging for money at PPP

Having recently married and planning to start a family, my wife and I started thinking of ways to augment our income. Being both bloggers (though she's been inactive for awhile now), the chance to make money from blogging appealed to us. Searching for paid blogging sites, we came across PayPerPost. Searching for further information on the company, we found out that PPP is one of the biggest paid blogging websites today, having the backing of established advertisers. Armed with this knowledge, I immediately signed up and prayed that my blog would be accepted. Space saving innovation

Presently, my wife and I are living in the family compound in Bulacan while we are still looking for a suitable place for us to live. Since there's only the two of us, we plan to live in a small condominium unit or even a small apartment. To maximize the small space, we need to be resourceful in how we arrange our furniture and appliances. From experience, I know that the television set can occupy a lot of space. For our future house, I plan on installing a plasma wall bracket where I can mount the TV. That way, we can use the space under the mounting for other uses, which is a good thing as we have a lot of books and magazines in the house that needs storage to avoid a cluttered look. Maybe I can have storage shelves running along the wall underneath the TV mounting. That will give me easy access to my books even while I am watching our favorite TV programs with my wife.

In an earlier post, I admitted to being addicted to texas hold em poker. I find the game exciting. I get thrilled trying to outbluff opponents for the pot. Christmas Gift Ideas

With Christmas just around the corner, my wife and I have started thinking about the gifts that we will be giving our family and friends. For this year, we want to make our gifts more personal. Not really home-made but something personalized. Personalized gifts make the recipient feel more special. Personalized coffee mugs and towels will do, but I'm thinking something more intimate. I'm thinking of ordering photo blankets for the family and photo throw pillows for friends. I'm sure they'll be amused and amazed when they see their photos adorning the gifts that we will prepare for them.

Now that I've decided what to give out for Christmas, the only problem is where to get the funds for the gifts. Hehehe!

No Smorty Opps Today?

Amazing! There hasn't been any Smorty opportunities today for me. I usually manage to get one every now and then but there hasn't been any appearing for me today at all! New "Racket"

Recently, I've been asked by my wife's co-workers to design birthday party invitations for their kids. It's something that I normally do for family members. I did my sister's wedding invitation in 2004. The following year, my wife asked me to make the invites for her brother's wedding. When my nephew was baptized, I was again tasked to make the invites. It seems that they trust me to make creative invitations for them (though I'm not very confident with my work in this area so far). With the latest requests for invites, My wife and I started thinking that maybe we can venture into this invite design business professionally. We realized that since people believe in our talents, we should capitalize on it and earn from the requests that we get. My wife does sketches while I try my hand at basic Photoshop?graphic design. We figured if we harness our talents, maybe we can start a small business doing sketches and designing invitations for a fee.

Here's a photo of my nephew, Sean, holding his dancing reindeer. It was supposed to be a full body shot, but he ran at me the moment he saw the camera. He loves looking at his photos in the camera's LCD screen. Only one and a half year-old, he can name most animals, including their young. He particularly likes animals from Down Under, especially the kangaroo. My Mom had to ask a cousin vacationing in Australia to get him a kangaroo stuffed toy. For us in the family, he's our little Kuya Kim (Atienza).

The Kiss

The most important thing in real estate,
