The popularity of the Internet has spawned a thousand new applications for the technology. Reality shows have used it for fan voting to choose who will win or who will be eliminated. Online contests are being created for the purpose of looking for the next Internet superstar. Among these contests is the Look of the Year online beauty contest. The contest is open for all those who are 14 years old or older and who think they have what it takes to be the next Look of the Year winner.
